The hotel has a friendly and cozy environment with 144 hotel rooms, apartments, pools, restaurants, bars, etc. Go and see breathtaking mountains, waterfalls, forests, and fjords.
At the restaurant, the food is served with a fantastic view over the beautiful landscape. The food is inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. They cross mainly between Italy and Spain, with the flavors of green herbs such as basil and rosemary, the grassiness of delicious olive oil, and the taste of juicy, sun-ripened tomatoes. The vegetables are selected according to the season. Their ambition is to mainly work with local ingredients.
Requirements:
– 3-5 years experience in an a la carte restaurant as a chef
– Basic knowledge of food and wine, and a strong interest in them
– English language
– Happy and positive attitude
– Experience running a section in a kitchen alone
– Flexibility
Working period: start ASAP – 3-month contract with a possibility to prolong
Salary: 215-225 NOK/h+10,2% vacation money
Accommodation: 4000 NOK/1 month – apartment (own bedroom, shared kitchen and bathroom), 5 km away from the hotel
The approximate monthly salary with regular hours is 220*168*10,2%= 40 730 NOK before taxes (vacation money and overtime addition of 50% would be paid at the end of the contract). Taxes are ~25%.
