The Hotel has 97 rooms, with a total capacity of 185 beds, a restaurant, bar, function room with a wine cellar, as well as courses, and a conference department with a capacity of 150 people. The restaurant opened in 2019. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and drinks and is looking for a good guest experience. You are professionally skilled and keen to deliver high quality. You are able to motivate and lead, have good collaboration skills and contribute to a good working environment. The hotel and its F&B departments are constantly developing, and this is a position with great potential for the right person. In addition to breakfast service, lunch/meeting service and a la carte, we have several exciting events in our annual cycle; Afternoon tea, themed evenings with food, cocktail evenings, weddings, Christmas parties and other parties. Tasks: - Personnel responsibility, including recruitment, training and sales training of service staff in the restaurant/bar - Responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and company department - Staffing and rosters - Budget and result responsibility, including time management, cost control and gross profit. - Responsibility for the department's quality, cleaning, service and safety. - Purchasing - Develop the restaurant department in collaboration with the hotel's management and other departments; breakfast and lunch service, conference concept, restaurant, bar and company Qualifications: - Experience in similar positions in Norway - Ability to communicate well both in writing and orally in Norwegian and/or English - A burning passion and pride for the job We offer: - Competitive salary with additions - New restaurant, bar and kitchen, as well as top-quality equipment. - A pleasant working environment - Good development opportunities - Compensation for the traveling expenses (one way) and assistance while planning the move Fixed salary: 40 000 NOK/per month
