They focus on personal service and a cozy atmosphere, great course-conference facilities, function rooms for every occasion, a restaurant, bar and a separate spa and wellness department. The kitchen focuses on local food such as seafood, wild sheep and deer. They want to offer local food, great experiences with a taste of the sea! Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus and dishes using excellent quality, locally-sourced ingredients. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation is executed to the highest standards. - Supervise and lead a team of culinary professionals, inspiring and motivating them to deliver exceptional results. - Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized working environment. - Coordinate with other departments, such as service, to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Requirements: - Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and a passion for utilizing local ingredients. - Leadership skills, able to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. - Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure, and meet deadlines. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a strong focus on food presentation. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the hospitality industry.
