If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a talented Sous Chef for a hotel located 2-hour drive from Trondheim. They focus on personal service and a cozy atmosphere, great course-conference facilities, function rooms for every occasion, a restaurant, bar and a separate spa and wellness department. The kitchen focuses on local food such as seafood, wild sheep and deer. They want to offer local food, great experiences with a taste of the sea! Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus and dishes using excellent quality, locally-sourced ingredients. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation is executed to the highest standards. - Supervise and lead a team of culinary professionals, inspiring and motivating them to deliver exceptional results. - Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized working environment. - Coordinate with other departments, such as service, to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Requirements: - Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role - Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and a passion for utilizing local ingredients. - Leadership skills, able to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. - Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure, and meet deadlines. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a strong focus on food presentation. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the hospitality industry.
Position: Sous Chef
Location: Hitra
Working period: 01.06.2024 - 30.09.2024
Accommodation: 630.83 NOK/month Staff accommodation. You will have your own room with a shared kitchen and bathroom.
Food: Free on working days (staff food, 1 time)
Salary: 240.00 - 260.00 NOK/h
Average working hours is 162.50 / month
The approximate salary with normal hours is 260.00 * 162 * 12.00% = 47320.00 NOK  before taxes (~25.00)
Salary additions
  • Sunday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour
  • Overtime addition 50.00 %
  • Saturday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour
  • Vacation addition 12.00 %
  • Night time addition 47.41 NOK/Hour
  • Evening time addition 13.55 NOK/Hour
  • National holiday addition 100.00 %
Overtime and vacation money will be paid at the end of the contract.
