We are looking for an a la carte chef at a good standard hotel located in a coastal town in Western Norway. It is a small town on the west coast of Norway in the Vestland region, known as Norway’s westernmost town. It has a population of around 9,500 people. It offers basic urban amenities: there are shops, supermarkets, cafes, and a few restaurants, as well as a cinema and a public swimming pool. The town is an important fishing and maritime hub and serves as a gateway to the surrounding fjords and islands. Its scenic location and local cultural activities make it a pleasant place to live or visit.
Salary approximate: 260.00 * 162 * 12.00% = 47320.00 NOK (about 4206 eur/month before taxes)
Requirements:
- Relevant experience from an a la carte kitchen and buffet service in a hotel
- Knowledge of industry standards and food safety guidelines
- Hygiene certificate
- Good communication skills in English, and knowing Norwegian is a huge plus
- It is important that you have a good understanding of efficient operations and a good ability to plan and structure your work. Versatility and flexibility are key.
