We are looking for a creative and ambitious Head Chef for a sustainable design hotel in Voss. This is a great opportunity for a chef who wants to build a long-term career in one of Norway’s most beautiful regions. Western Norway is known for its dramatic nature, outdoor adventures and strong local food traditions. The hotel is part of a leading activity and hospitality company that combines high-quality accommodation and food culture with nature-based experiences. Voss is “in the middle of Norway’s pantry”, surrounded by excellent local producers and wild ingredients from the surrounding landscape. It is an ideal place for a chef who wants to create modern Nordic menus with a clear sense of place and build a long-term life in Western Norway. Main responsibilities: • Develop menus and concepts based on local and seasonal ingredients • Lead the daily operations of the kitchen, including staff planning and rotas • Responsibility for budget, purchasing and stock control • Ensure quality, sustainability and food safety (HACCP) • Lead, train and inspire the kitchen team Requirements: • Chef qualification and experience with Nordic/Scandinavian cuisine • Results-oriented and able to work independently • Good command of English • A genuine wish to relocate to Voss and live here long term Salary & conditions: • Salary: NOK 50,000–55,000 per month (approx.
