We are looking for an experienced and versatile Baker / Chef to join a small, friendly team at a lunch and coffee bar in Norway. The café specializes in artisan bread, gourmet sandwiches, Norwegian pastries (boller), quality coffee and fresh lunch dishes. The business is expanding its menu to include Neapolitan pizza and fresh pasta. We are looking for someone who enjoys both baking and cooking, works efficiently and is happy to contribute to different areas of the café. Main responsibilities: * Prepare bread, pastries, sandwiches and lunch dishes. * Help develop the menu, including pizza and fresh pasta. * Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene. * Support daily café operations and work closely with the team. Requirements: * 3–5 years of experience as a baker or chef. * Experience with sourdough baking and pizza is an advantage. * Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy environment. * Flexible, positive and a good team player. * Good communication skills in English or a Scandinavian language. * Interest in menu development and contributing new ideas.
